Dreaming the Dead Father

This painting in acrylic commemorates a dream I had about my dead father in his coffin. He had come back to me to make amends for his homophobic attitude to his gay Jewish son. In his coffin, he tells me in a voice that resembles his but is also deeply Abrahamic, that he is there for me, will love,  support me, and will never leave me. I was so moved by the luminosity of the dream that I decided to capture the message from the beyond in this painting as part of my inner work and help with my patients working on their own unfinished family business.
